Föreläsningen ger också några exempel på curatoriella projekt som ägt rum på presentationsplatser både online och offline och som experimenterat med möjligheterna som webben erbjuder.
Marialaura Ghidini är curator, författare och lärare. Hon arbetar på Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology och programdirektör för T-A-J Residency i Bangalore, Indien. Tidigare har hon grundat or-bits.com, en curatoriell webbaserad plattform som stödde utveckling, produktion och distribution av samtida konstverk och text online och offline. Marialaura är just nu residencygäst hos Art Lab Gnesta, i samverkan med Konstnärsnämndens internationella program för bild- och formkonst.

Shifts: A brief history of exhibition formats online
This talk will propose a brief history of exhibition formats online looking at how curatorial approaches have shifted in response to the characteristics of web interfaces. The talk will also propose some examples of curatorial projects that have encompassed both online and offline sites of display, experimenting with the possibilities offered by the web.

Marialaura was the founder director of or-bits.com a curatorial web-based platform that supported the development, production and distribution of contemporary artworks and writing online and offline. Marialaura is currently in resident at Art Lab Gnesta with the kind support The Swedish Arts Grants Committee international program for visual art and design.
